This past weekend Maggie and I went to the Bronx Zoo with some friends. It was a very nice zoo. Their Tiger display, aptly titled “Tiger Mountain”, was very nice with Tigers free roaming on the other side of the glass.

And the Gorilla exhibit was very, very cool. I’ve never seen a larger group of gorillas living together. There were quite a few young ones and they were very playful. One of them was even banging against the glass, I guess wanting us to either play with him, or get outta there and leave him alone.

I was also impressed with the Butterfly exhibit. There were many very colorful butterflies flying around the enclosed exhibit. The encloser was of couse shaped like a catapiller on the outside.
